After graduating in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano (1975) and after various internships in milanese offices of architecture, he decides to begin his freelancer profession in 1978. Interior architecture, architecture, restoration and renovation of residential spaces, are replaced later on by exhibit design and design of commercial spaces (1990). Together with the architectural profession, he begins in 1978 the didactic activity as a teacher in architectural lab workshop and technology of materials in IED of which he is the coordinator from 1980 to 1989, and in the faculty of architecture of Politecnico di Genova from 1992 to 1996.
