He was born in Milan in 1946. After his degree in Political Sciences at the "Università Statale di Milano", he worksas a production manager, responsible for product line manifactured by a multinational firm. Following this first professional experienceand widely due to his inncreasing interest in the design field, he collaborates for five years with the management office of important private institute in Milanwich deals with teaching subjects such as design, advertising and marketing. He takes care specifically of the management organizaztion. In 1980, together with Giovanni De Lucchi and Marinella Jacini he establishes "ISAD".
